3.2 Respect Rate Limits

Respect any rate limits specified by the target website. Configure appropriate check intervals to avoid overloading servers and reduce monitoring frequency if requested by the website owner.

4. Data Collection and Privacy

Do not use the Service as a means to collect, extract, or process personal data from monitored websites. Do not include sensitive data such as passwords, API keys, or payment card information in your monitor configurations.

5. Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and using strong, unique passwords. If you discover a security vulnerability in our Service, please report it to [email protected] and do not exploit or publicly disclose it without our consent.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to [email protected]. We will investigate all reported violations and take appropriate action, which may include warning the user, suspending or terminating the account, or reporting to law enforcement.

7. Consequences of Violation

Accounts terminated for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds of unused credits. We reserve the right to pursue legal action for violations that cause harm to SiteSheriff, our users, or third parties.

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the Service.
